The threat from the former Rajya Sabha member is not new as he had earlier issued similar threats of crossing party lines in support of his demand of a separate Telangana state.
According to a CNN-IBN report
, TRS leader KT Rama Rao welcomed the move, saying, “They have done various things that could be done for the party. They have done every efforts to bring out the issue of Telangana. Both of them, along with Keshav Rao, decided to join Telangana Rashtra Samithi. We will definitely achieve Telangana. We will communicate more after the meeting.” Wary of a chained effect, Congress said that it will talk out the issue with the aggrieved members.
