Ajit Pawar to be sworn in tomorrow

Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar will rejoin the Maharashtra cabinet as deputy chief minister on Friday, days after he got a clean chit in the alleged irrigation scam in the state.

Pawar will be sworn-in 9.30 am on Friday by Governor K Sankaranarayanan, a top Raj Bhavan official told IANS.

Pawar, nephew of NCP chief Sharad Pawar, had quit in a huff on 25 September after his name cropped up in the alleged scam.
