Coimbatore: A judicial magistrate court on Thursday extended till 31 August the custody of middle man Sukesh Chandrasekhar in connection with a case of cheating a kitchen equipment dealer here seven years ago. Reuters[/caption] Chandrasekhar, now lodged in Tihar jail in connection with the ’two leaves’ symbol case, involving AIADMK (Amma) leader TTV Dinakaran, was brought here by Delhi Police on Thursday. A man named Rajavelu had lodged a complaint that Chandrasekhar had cheated him in 2010 of Rs 2.43 lakh on the promise of helping in securing a tender from the Karnataka government. Charges under Section 420 were framed against Chandrasekhar and his father on 20 July. Chandrasekhar was produced before Judicial Magistrate Rajkumar, who extended the custody till 31 August. He was taken to Delhi by a train amid tight security.
