Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today met BJP patriarch LK Advani, his first interaction since being anointed the party’s poll campaign committee chief that led to the split in NDA. Modi drove to Advani’s residence for the meeting which lasted for about an hour. [caption id=“attachment_883287” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  PTI[/caption] It is not known what transpired at the meeting, but tv channels quoting sources said that the meeting had been amiable, and that Advani had sought to communicate to Modi that he was not upset at his elevation within the party. The meeting between the two leaders was also the first since Advani resigned from all his party posts before withdrawing the decision following a telephonic talk with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and persuasion by BJP leaders. Modi is in Delhi primarily to meet Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia and finalize the state’s annual plan. With inputs from PTI
