AAP offers apologies for foul language used by TV anchor

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday offered “sincere apologies” for the foul language used by a TV anchor at a public meeting in support of the party here. “AAP does not encourage use of any unparliamentary language by its leaders or members or supporters,” it said in a statement. “We are here to fight against corrupt politicians and we will continue our battle.” [caption id=“attachment_1230027” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![Arvind Kejriwal. He has also clarified that AAP has nothing to do with his remarks and it was his mistake. “AAP is against the use of any foul language by its members or supporters. We stand for honest and clean politics and will continue to do so. We will also ensure that such mistakes are not repeated.” The offending remarks were made by Laxman at an election rally in support of the AAP candidate in RK Puram in south Delhi. IANS
