Ashutosh’s remarks came after the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police on Wednesday questioned Chauhan. Soni, a party worker had committed suicide on 19 July, alleging harassment by an AAP party worker Ramesh Wadhwa. In her complaint, she also alleged that Wadhwa asked for sexual favours. Wadhwa was arrested on Wednesday by the police. The police had registered a case against Wadhwa on June 2 and arrested him a day after. He, however, got bail the next day and also got a court stay on his arrest. Meanwhile, Ashutosh’s charge was refuted by the police. “We had questioned Chauhan on Wednesday, but we have not summoned Rakhi Bidlan for questioning,” Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Ravindra Yadav told IANS. “I don’t know who is floating such baseless rumors,” the officer said, adding, “I am tired replying to this question.”
