US Navy ship collides with tanker near Singapore; rescue operations on as 10 sailors go missing

Navy and coast guards in Singapore and Malaysia are currently conducting wide search and rescue operations. AP
In a press conference, Malaysian maritime director Indera Abu Bakar said that Malaysia deployed nine vessels and one aircraft for the rescue operations. AP
He also explained that the incident took place close to Pedra Branca or Pulau Batu Puteh which is a subject of an international legal territorial dispute between Singapore and Malaysia. Reuters
