The 400-kilometre (250-mile) "March for Justice" began in Ankara on 15 June to criticise the imprisonment of a party lawmaker but later grew into a movement for the citizens to voice their concerns over various government policies after July 2016's failed coup attempt. AP
The movement was launched by the leader of Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party, Kemal Kilicdaroglu as Enis Berberoglu, an MP from his party was arrested for allegedly arrested for revealing documents that linked the Turkish government's funding to jihadists in Syria.AP
