The protesters criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath for failing to protect female students during the clashes at BHU. PTI
Police said that permission was not granted for any protest near the ministry and hence students were detained. PTI
Other student unions like AISA, AIWDA and KYS also held a separate protest at Jantar Mantar on Monday. PTI
