South Africa managed to keep India away from winning the series as they tasted victory in a rain-affected fourth ODI by five wickets (D/L method). Reuters
India won the toss and elected to bat first on a surface where batsmen had an advantage. Rohit Sharma fell cheaply but Shikhar Dhawan was at his fluent best. Reuters.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli's terrific form with the bat in the series was on display in the fourth ODI as he was striking the ball to perfection. He shared a 158-run partnership with Dhawan before getting out for 75.

India ended up making 289/7 in 50 overs and after the break, rain came in to interfere with the match proceedings. The match was then reduced to 28 overs with South Africa requiring 202 runs to keep the series alive. AFP
