SIIMA Awards 2017: Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif's special appearance, Madhavan's lungi dance

The sixth edition of South Indian International Movie Awards was held at Abu Dhabi on 30 June and 1 July. Artists from the film fraternity came together to celebrate cinema of South India in the most opulent way possible. Naturally, the event was a star studded affair with some spectacular performances and unforgettable moments. From Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif making a special appearance to promote their upcoming Jagga Jasoos film, to Kapoor’s special Lungi Dance with R Madhavan, Rana Daggubati, Nani and Nivin Pauly, the event had something for everyone to look forward to. Image from Twitter.[/caption] Nayanthara won the Best Actor (Female) award for her role in Malayalam revenge drama, Puthiya Niyamam. Madhavan won the Best Actor in the critics category for his role in sports drama, Irudhi Suttru. Malik won the Best Male Singer award for ‘Sariyaagi Nenapide’ from Mungaru Male 2.
