The memorable dream sequence of Raj Kapoor’s Awara was one of the first scenes to be shot at RK Studio. His grandson Rishi Kapoor claims that the sequence was shot within the confines of the bare minimum.

‘Pyar Hua Ikrar Hua’, which went down in history as one of the most loved romantic songs, was shot at RK Studios. Raj Kapoor and Nargis Dutt created a magical screen moment in this song from Shree 420.

Mera Naam Joker, starring Raj Kapoor in the titular role, was not an instant hit but eventually became a classic. It is a travesty that Raj Kapoor’s joker mask and costumes got destroyed in the fire.

RK Studios still serves as an ideal shooting location for Hindi cinema. The famous ‘Om Shanti Om’ song from Subhash Ghai’s revenge saga Karz, featuring Rishi Kapoor and the revolving stage, was also shot there.
