About 500 LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) activists and others participated in the Chennai Rainbow Pride rally held at the Marina beach today. The rally marked the culmination of the Rainbow Pride month, which saw several events such as debates on LGBT issues and festivities.
