Dandi Kutir, which is named after the famous Dandi March led by Gandhi during India’s freedom struggle was built to spread Gandhi’s idea of people across lines of class, gender, age and community asserting a common right to slat itself. PTI

Abe, who is on a two-day visit to boost bilateral ties between India and Japan inaugurated the ground breaking ceremony of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai high-speed rail project being built with Japan’s aid on Thursday. The two countries signed 15 MoUs. PTI

Both Modi and Abe called upon all countries to work towards rooting out terrorist safe havens and infrastructure, in an apparent reference to Pakistan. PTI

After signing the MoUs with Modi, Abe would visit exhibition booths at Mahatma Mandir and India-Japan Business Plenary at Mahatma Mandir. PTI
