Modi remembered Pramukh Swami Ji Maharaj, the guru and head of Swaminarayan Sanstha and praised him for bringing in “modern managment” in BAPS while keeping the Indian tradition alive. PTI

The prime minister also lauded Pramukh Swami for building a 3-D theatre in the Akshardham temple in Delhi. He further said that the seer constructed around 12,000 temples in his lifetime, which are centres of cultural and spiritual enlightenment. PTI

Modi also said that the Akshardham temples stand out for their magnificence, exceptional management and the way they have used latest technology. PTI

Narendra Modi said the Swaminarayan family has distinguished itself through impeccable service and care for humanity. He also said that the Swaminarayan sect has a large following among the Patel community members. PTI
