Narendra Modi, Amit Shah on a campaign overdrive before polling in UP, Manipur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah were on a campaign overdrive before the sixth phase of elections. While Modi was in UP’s Maharajganj, Shah was in Manipur’s Imphal.

Modi took a dig at the critics of note ban. “On the one hand are those (critics of note ban) who talk of what people at Harvard say and on the other hand is a poor man’s son who through his hard work is trying to improve the economy,” he said. PTI
