Speaking in Hindi, Modi used rhyming words to hit out at Manik Sarkar government. He said that the Left parties do not believe in democracy (ganatantra) but they believe in gun-tantra. He also accused the state of murdering ten BJP workers. Team 101Reporters/Abhisek Saha

Modi asked why the state government employees in Tripura are still being paid as per the fourth pay commission and not the seventh. He promised that BJP will implement seventh pay commission and minimum wages for all workers. Twitter@NarendraModi

The prime minister also accused the Congress and Left parties of having a “secret understanding” for the elections. “Both parties destroyed Tripura. Do not trust them.
