Mumbai on high alert; Force One, NSG teams deployed

The Navy and police went on high alert after some locals reported that masked persons armed with guns were sighted in the coastal town of Uran near Mumbai on Thursday.

High alert was issued in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai on Thursday after two school children allegedly spotted armed men in Uran. PTI
Security was stepped up in Mumbai and adjoining areas. Apart from Mumbai police, the National Security Guard, state police's specialised commandos Force One and ATS were also deployed. PTI
