In the 40-minute meeting, the duo discussed on economic development, new technologies and bridging inequality in society and destructive divisive politics that can hurt the society. PTI

The two leaders also talked about importance of inclusive democracies, besides jobs creation. Rahul's meeting was rescheduled after the Canadian prime minister had to call on President Ram Nath Kovind after bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PTI
