The minimum requirement to set the record was 500 kilograms, however, with the help of over 50 chefs, India managed to cook over 900 kilograms of Khichdi. Badal along with Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti and Swami Ramdev cooking Khichdi. PTI
The preparation to create a world record and popularise Khichdi as Brand India food was part of 'Great Indian Food Street' at the global event organised along with industry body CII, that features traditional food from more than 20 states. PTI
Apart from popular chef Sanjeev Kapoor, other leading chefs including Imtiaz Qureshi, Ranveer Brar, Sudhir Sibal, Rakesh Sethi, Akshay Nayyar, Satish Gowda also helped in the cooking of the dish. PTI
