India bank on all-round effort to blank Sri Lanka in 2nd Test, clinch series 2-0

After 2 quick wickets. Dimuth Karunaratne and Angelo Mathews provided some resistance to avoid a collapse. The duo added 69 runs for the 5th wicket before Mathews was caught smartly by wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha for 36. AP

Virat Kohli completed his 8 Test series win on a trot, only Australia’s Ricky Ponting has a better record of 9 consecutive Test series win.
