Images: Tamil film industry joins protest against Sri Lanka

The Tamil Nadu Film Directors’ Union today went on a hunger strike in Chennai over the Sri Lankan Tamils issue. Top directors such as Mani Ratnam, S Shankar, Murugadoss, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Ameer and SJ Surya participated in the protest. The directors urged India to support the US-sponsored resolution and ask for an amendment to institute an international investigation into alleged war crimes by Sri Lanka. Here are some images.
