Described by Musk in August 2023 as “Grease meets the Jetsons with Supercharging,” the retro-futuristic diner will serve classic American fare like burgers and milkshakes. The site’s first level is about 3,800 sq ft as well as an outdoor seating space and food prep area spread across 5,500 sq ft, according to Fox 11. AFP

The new Tesla diner is super fun for its employees, too. During its opening day, staff on roller skates serve samples of ice cream as people wait to enter the Tesla Diner and Drive-In restaurant. It also features two 45-foot LED movie screens. It officially opened its doors at exactly 4:20 pm on July 21, the unusual timing might have been chosen as Musk is fascinated by the number 420. AFP
