Strong showers lashed Delhi and parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) on Monday, bringing the mercury level down as the skies remained overcast for much for the day. PTI

Adjoining areas of Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad also witnessed heavy showers, and water-logging was reported at various other places. PTI
According to Safdargunj Observatory, the city received 20.6 mm rainfall on Monday. Temperature remained between 34.1 degree celsius to 24 degree celsius, two notches below normal. PTI
IMD has warned of heavy rainfall in next 48 hours around parts of Delhi-NCR which will keep temperatures below normal. PTI
