BJP chief Amit Shah arrived in Madhya Pradesh on Friday to take stock of ground realities across the state, assess the performance of ministers and discuss strategies to chalk out a blueprint on how to proceed for the Assembly polls. PTI
Shah was received by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other party leaders, including Kailash Vijaywargiya and Prabhat Jha Raja in Bhopal. He arrived at Raja Bhoj airport and given a grand welcome by the BJP state unit. PTI
Shah will be attending a series of meetings with local party leaders, including state unit office-bearers, central office-bearers and core group members. PTI
Shah will also address intellectuals and meritorious students, besides releasing a book written by Kailash Narayan Sarang. He has set the target of 200 seats for the BJP in the Assembly elections. PTI
This visit is part of a 110-day nationwide tour to strengthen and expand the party’s support base ahead of the 2019 general elections. PTI
