Earlier, Rahul Gandhi's efforts to reach out to the people in Uttar Pradesh have largely remained unproductive. Even his Khat pe Charcha programs proved to be a damp squibs. However, despite much camaraderie between the two leaders, the alliance is still not immune to troubles.
