PM to hold meeting on Navi Mumbai Airport on Nov 13
The chief minister requested locals to cooperate with the government on the subject.

Thane: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has convened a meeting in New Delhi on November 13 to discuss the bottlenecks in the progress of the proposed greenfield airport at Panvel in Navi Mumbai.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said this at a public meeting in Panvel yesterday.
Terming the proposed airport a key infrastructure project, Chavan expressed confidence that the unresolved issues related to it would be sorted out at the meeting.
Chavan appealed to the local villagers to cooperate with the government, and said the airport will lead to the area's development and improvement in the standard of living of the people.
The Navi Mumbai airport will provide an alternative to the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
