Mumbai might not have gotten a secret performance from Chris Martin (yes, we’re still upset about that), but at least Mumbaikars can rejoice in the fact that Goa’s favourite King’s Beer is about to make its way to the city. The brewery’s owners plan to launch it in Mumbai next week- which is the third week of July, reports LiveMint. [caption id=“attachment_2347694” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Kings Beer. Image courtesy: Facebook[/caption] Earlier, brewed and sold exclusively in Goa, the Assolda-based Impala Distillery & Brewery Ltd’s King’s Black Label Premium Pilsner is packaged in a distinctive 325 ml brown and gold bottle which never left a hole in your pocket– humbly priced between Rs 40 to Rs 100. The unique part of this ale is it’s hoppy flavour, it’s light with a smoky malt flavour that is neither too sharp or bitter, with a minuscule alcohol content of 4.85 percent — which is 5 percent lesser than that of other beers. So, the next time you want to guzzle King’s Beer, you can save yourself a trip to Goa.
