Mumbai rains live: Trains delayed but operational, water logging in some parts

Mumbai has been hit with incessant rains since early this morning. According to BMC officials, there have been no complaints of water-logging in the city as yet. Local trains on both - the Western Line as well as Central Line - are running late. Track live updates here.

13: 15 pm: Waterlogging in many parts of Mumbai as rains continue

Heavy rain leads to water logging in several areas like Andheri, Borivali, Kandivali and Malad, reports IBN7. 

So far trains and road networks are still largely functional. Trains on the Western and Central Railways continue to be operating but behind schedule.

11. 45 am: No water logging complaints yet, says BMC

According to BMC officials, there have been no complaints of water-logging yet. The high tide level will hit 4. 26 metres at around 2.30 pm this evening.

The current rainfall record at Santa Cruz Met department is 35.4 mm while at Colaba it is 30.2 mm.

Trains running on the Western Line of Mumbai’s local train service are running late by around 15 minutes, while those on the Central Line are late by 45 minutes.
