Mumbai rains: Harbour line trains come to standstill, other lines running late

With heavy rains continuing since morning, the harbour railway line between Kurla and Chembur has come to a standstill due to water logging, officials said.

"The harbour line between Kurla and GTB Nagar came to a halt around 2:30 pm due to flooding of tracks," railway police officials said.

The railway line linking the city to the satellite town of Navi Mumbai has come to a halt as a result.

As heavy rains continued, it wasn't certain when services on the line will be restored.
