Mumbai: A nurse from Delhi who was attacked with acid 2 May in Mumbai died on Saturday, her grieving family said. The 23-year-old acid attack victim died on Saturday due to multiple organ failure. Her lungs had collapsed due to the holes that formed post the attack.  The victim had also lost an eye after acid was thrown on her when she got down from the New Delhi-Mumbai Garib Rath Express at Mumbai’s Bandra Terminus on 2 May with her relatives. So far, police have arrested one man in connection with the incident. Preeti Rathi died in a private hospital. “Doctors removed the ventilator and other medical aids, which kept her alive, around 4 pm,” Amar Singh Rathi, the victim’s father, told IANS.
