Voting in Lok Sabha Election 2019 begins on 11 April and will take place over seven phases. The Lok Sabha election schedule was announced by the EC in March and most parties have already declared a large number of their Lok Sabha candidates. With manifestos being released, the BJP will seek to return the Narendra Modi government to power, while the Rahul Gandhi-led Congress seeks to stitch together an alliance capable of coming out on top when Lok Sabha election results 2019 are announced on 23 May. The states of Maharashtra, UP and Bihar are likely to see the fiercest contests, and over the coming days, opinion polls and poll surveys will paint a clearer picture.
