Why shooting food on your phone is addictive

Everytime you order food in a fancy restaurant, do you click pictures of it before jumping onto it? You are not alone. A large and growing number of people obsessively take and share photos of their food. The Guardian lists some of the apps that you can use to share food images and let the world know of what you eat. While Foodspotting, Foursquare, SnapDish has always been there, Platter is the new addition to the growing apps. AFP”]  [/caption] Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest are also awash with plates of food. And why not? After all, what you eat - and what you want to admit to eating publicly on social media - is a reflection of yourself. But is it time to take stock? Whether  sharing some moments of your life, creating food art, or plain showing off–whatever the reason for to take the photograph of your food, maybe it’s time to give it a second thought.
