Most of the Indian politicians are typically known for giving flamboyant speeches in rallies, calling their rivals all sorts of names, countering charges of some sort of corruption or ensuring that the Parliament or the state legislature almost always looks like a war zone. Malla Reddy, 62-year-old Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP from Malkajgiri, Telangana, showed that even politicians know how to have fun when he was called on to the stage at a college event in Hyderabad on Sunday. Perhaps the best part of the video is how Reddy was not only aware of Psy’s dance moves in the song (like the ’lasso’ move) but also knew when to time those moves so that they were in sync with the music. In fact, looking at the skill and enthusiasm with which Reddy was showing off his moves on the stage, one might even say that he is one of the best dancing politicians in India. Of course, you can’t have an Indian politician dancing to Gangnam Style without Twitter reactions on the same. People on Twitter, as expected, were highly amused with Malla Reddy’s dance moves.
