Watch: Stephen Colbert ups the masala, cooks Indian food, shakes a leg to Bollywood songs

Let's face it Indian food is not everyone's cup of tea. it's more of a love-hate relationship. If you love it, you really love it. And judging from the way The Late Night talk show host Stephen Colbert evoked "holy shanti's" name, he definitely loved it.

Colbert on his show decides to learn Indian food from Indian-American chef Yamini Joshi who is a part of The League of Kitchens to find out all the nitty gritties.

Well for one, he learned that "all food deep fried is more delicious."

Of course Colbert got to the tough questions first. "You're still not allowed to eat cow? Is that true" and then humorously moving over to how "Turmeric, Fenugreek, Garam Masala all sound like Game of Thrones characters."

While cooking with ghee or "gee" as Colbert says it, the talk show host, brings up Paula Deen and asks Joshi if she knows who that is. Joshi stumped for a moment, recovers quick enough to say, "Oh yeah! The fat lady!"

This segment is a must watch, if only to see Colbert's spectacular bollywood moves with the thumkas et all.
