Budweiser is no stranger to releasing adorable puppy advertisements during Superbowl week. Last year’s lost puppy ad had us all make us want to adopt a puppy. And this year, they’ve done it again.
According to Time magazine , this year’s lost puppy is an emotional roller coaster. Their tug at the heartstrings Super Bowl ad follows the story of the same adorable golden retriever puppy, that this time gets a wee bit lost.
The advert follows the poor puppy’s adventures trying to find his way back home until he meets up with a big, bad wolf, and — well, watch for yourself, the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales comes to the dog’s rescue.
Though this year’s “Lost Dog” is nice enough, and hits a definite high on the adorable metre, last year’s “Puppy Love” was a more engaging story— especially the double story line of the puppy/Clydesdale and the horse trainer/puppy adoption owner that struck a cord with the watchers. This one relies more on just being rather cute.
According to Mashable , last year’s ad was the most shared and most viewed Superbowl ad.
