Want to break up with your partner? Now, there's an app to do that for you

“It’s all well and good having the app to find the one. But what about when you start to hate that one? It’s time to make a change.” [caption id=“attachment_2308584” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]Binder is an app which you can use to break up with your partner. No, really. Screenshot from YouTube video. Binder is an app which you can use to break up with your partner. No, really. Screenshot from YouTube video.[/caption] You know that maybe the frenzy about smartphone apps has gone a bit too far when the above line is the motto and objective of an app. In what seems to be a spoof of the dating app Tinder rather than an app which you would ever consider using for a true purpose, Scottish beer company Tennet’s has created an app which helps you break up with your partner. Yes, you heard that right. The app asks you to enter your partner’s gender, name and number. After that, when you swipe right, the app does all the messy and stressful work of a break-up for you by sending your partner a message that he or she is not your special someone anymore. “Your (now) ex says, ‘you deserve the dream, now run free and go catch that beautiful butterfly’. Sorry, you’re binned” is one of the many ludicrous messages the app sends, according to The Telegraph. Thus, if you want to play a bad prank on your partner or you are drunk or you are simply a sadistic, evil person who loves seeing your partner rage, Binder is the perfect app for you.
