Viral Video: Sneaky sea lion steals monster fish as man poses for photo

Imagine posing with a massive dorado after a long day of fishing — thinking of how you would eat it — and then, in a split second, see a sea lion grab your prize out of your hands. In a video which has gone viral, two men were posing with their catch when the sea lion jumped out of the water and took it back underwater for a nice meal. This is one sea lion who’s surely not a good hunter but manages with a bit of thieving. [caption id=“attachment_1212299” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Screengrab from the YouTube video.[/caption] However, funnier than the whole incident is the other man’s reaction — he suddenly bursts into laughter before saying, “Did you see what happened? He took it right out of your hands!” And he does it all in a sing-song tone. The incident occurred in Cabo San Lucas off the coast of Baja California Sur. There are some who say that the video was staged — with it being a promotion for an upcoming TV show. Apparently, the sea lion called Pancho, is a regular down by the docks in Cabo. Also, there’s a pelican standing on the railing of the boat — just chilling while all this is happening. Watch the YouTube video below.
