Viral video: Sesame Street's 'House of Cards' parody will leave you in splits

‘Sesame Street’ usually hits the nail on the head when it comes to parodies and its latest take on political drama television series House of Cards does not disappoint.

House of Bricks is Sesame Street’s version of a House of Cards style story of the three little pigs, except that here you have Frank Underwolf, rather than Underwood narrating the plot.

House of Bricks is about Frank Underwolf’s ambition to get past the house of straw and sticks to claim the house of white bricks. “It’s a tale as old as time,” he says with an exaggerated southern accent. “Three pigs, three houses: straw, sticks, bricks. But only one that I really want to get into: the white brick house, the strongest of them all.”

From the opening sequence to Kevin Spacey’s accent to his lofty sentences, it’s all very familiar to the real show. You even see text messages appearing on the screen, just like they do in the real of House of Cards.
