The changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, a well co-ordinated ceremony that is a huge tourist attraction in London, was suddenly interrupted on Monday when a man shouting incoherently stood outside the palace, holding a knife to his neck and another to his stomach. As a policeman shouted a warning call of ‘Taser, Taser, Taser’ to his colleagues, the knifeman lunged forward, waving the knife, before falling to the ground. He was immediately pounced on and handcuffed by the police. This 45-second clip of the incident has since gone viral on the web. Rehman will be produced in court and also be made to undergo psychiatric treatment.
