Upcoming video game 'Star Wars: Battlefront' releases teaser pictures of a stormtrooper

The excitement surrounding Star Wars is not just limited to the seventh film in the franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is slated to be released on 18 December, 2015.

Electronic Arts is coming up with a new game on Star Wars titled ‘Star Wars: Battlefront’. This game is the third one in the Battlefront series.

As the first details of the game will be revealed by Electronic Arts on Friday, the official Instagram page for Star Wars: Battlefront released a series of pictures, which were meant to be teasers of a familiar character in the Star Wars universe.

However, the pictures just seem to display close-ups of different parts of a stormtrooper, the soldiers of the evil Galactic Empire in the Star Wars universe. While no major character has been revealed in the pictures, there are a lot of expectations on what the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim on Friday will reveal, reported Mashable .

“The series has been dormant since 2005’s Star Wars: Battlefront II, which is probably why EA opted to drop the expected “III” from the upcoming game’s title,” said the report.
