Meanwhile they also have to struggle to survive in one of the world’s coldest terrains, often in darkness in the wild. [caption id=“attachment_126237” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  A survival kit comprising a tent, two solar lights and two sleeping bags have raised the chances of Gaddi tribe’s survival[/caption] To fight these conditions, all that Aatmaram and his community needed was a donation of Rs. 11,500 which could buy them a survival kit comprising a tent, two solar lights and two sleeping bags. Supporters who came forward and did their bit have not only armed the Gaddi community to endure inhospitable conditions but also a chance at survival and a safe life.
