Malia has even toured Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley and New York University, according to
The New York Times. And all the colleges where the President’s daughter went have eagerly co-operated. “At Columbia, the president’s alma mater, Malia was shown around by Zila Reyes Acosta-Grimes, a third-year law school student serving in the University Senate, whose father is a prominent New York jurist. At Yale, the college’s head student tour guide, Jeremy Hutton — once a competitor in the Mr. Yale pageant — showed off the Gothic campus,” said the NYT report. The report also that the President also advised his daughter not to choose a college solely on the basis of its reputation and fame. “Just because it’s not some name-brand, famous, fancy school doesn’t mean that you’re not going to get a great education there,” the report quoted the President as saying. Malia’s extra-curricular interests will also matter when deciding on a college. One of interests is in films. Earlier in July,
Malia had a brief internship with with HBO’s hit show Girls. She had earlier interned for the sci-fi TV show Extant airing on CBS and starring Halle Berry. As a production assistant in Extant, Malia did everything from coffee runs to typing on the computer.
