![BBB_1196](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/BBB_1196-1024x683.jpg) Speaking of Indian weddings, one feature that makes them stand out from those across the globe is the people that make it happen. The diversity of colors, food, the rituals and the hustle bustle at an Indian wedding are unimaginable without the diversity of its attendees. Cackling relatives, anxious parents, mischievous young and pretty, aimless awkward loners, gossiping aunts, bored kids, nervous bride and excited groom, et al set the drama peculiar to this event.

And capturing this drama through pictures is the ultimate goal of a wedding photographer. In the world of wedding photography – there are two ways one can do this – traditional wedding photography and the very latest ‘candid photography’. Thanks to the ‘like and share’ culture on Facebook, people are more aware about ‘candid photography’ contributing to an increase in the demand for this form of documenting a marriage, according to Anand Biwalkar, a wedding photographer for the past 32 years. Talking about his experience over the years, in general, Biwalkar says, “The times have changed. Job remains the same but clients are different. And that is what makes this genre of photography interesting.” Sharath Murthy, a corporate communications professional who also dabbles in professional photography, says he enjoys capturing the mood of the entire event. Story-telling by capturing people, moods, tight-close ups and expressions, details of rituals and elements that give a feel of a marriage in the making is the hottest trend in India. Taking note of this, brands like Nikon have gone ahead and taken an initiative to create a skilled community of professionals through its photography workshops. Recently, Nikon kick-started FX Wedding Photography Workshop across India. Hosted by Nikon School India, the latest workshops to conclude were in Indore, Ludhiana, Pune and Raipur. Photographers can enroll themselves at Nikon’s workshops by registering onsite or on Nikon School India’s official page. Enrollments are registered on first come first serve basis. ![_DSC7168](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/DSC7168-1024x682.jpg) Meanwhile, across the globe, innovators are also aiming at creating cameras. D-SLR market in India recently saw the launch of Nikon D750 and D810, right in time for the upcoming wedding season.
