In a satirical video by the YouTube channel East India company we are told how sex education should be taught in co-ed schools as per a syllabus approved by the government of India. While it is obviously aimed at ridiculing Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan's 'sex education in co-ed schools should be banned' statement, the video also focuses on how teachers in our country shy away from discussing the issue.
In the video we see actor Anand Tiwari play a teacher explaining intercourse to his class. The diagrams he uses are censored (because otherwise they would corrupt young minds, obviously) and he never even mentions the word 'sex'. Explaining yown sangam (sexual relations), he tells his students that in Indian society first the kundalis meet (If you are mangalik, then there will be no sambhog). After that, parents meet and then the wedding happens. After all this, suhag raat follows. This is shown by holding up a placard with a glass of badam wala doodh.
During suhag raat, he tells his students, "the boy insert his Indian culture into the female value". He doesn't stop here and goes on to explain how babies are gifts from god. Since Hindus have 1.3 billion gods, each one has gifted a couple with a baby to create India's billion-plus population.
He also tells the kids that drinking badam doodh (his code for sex) before marriage is against Indian culture and shows them a documentary in which a certain Mukesh (like the guy who we see in anti- tobacco ads) dies of syphilis in his lungs. He then teaches his students to not be a khiladi (player) and love only one woman and tells them not to do it with a Pakistani.
However, the students finally revolt and tell him they are almost 18 years old and most definitely not stupid and asks him to say 'sa se sex'. Just then, he gets a phone call from what appears to be a member of the board and after hanging up, he tells his students that the syllabus has been changed and government of India has decided that sex doesn't exist anymore. It is a myth like 'Godzilla, Anaconda, orgasm, G-spot and global warming.'
