Virts, who has been in space since December 2014 as commander for Expedition 43, has captured some amazing imagery of India from above. Virts has been flying over India for the past week and has chronicled his journey through photographs and videos on his Twitter page. Here’s how remarkable aerial India looks

He also documented his day and night flight over India showing a beautiful contrast through the flowing Ganges and shining night lights
