One of Rajasthan’s remotest villages received a clean and colourful transformation

Calm, quiet, clean air, healthy food are some of the thoughts that would come to your mind when you think of a village. And now, with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and the Digital India initiative, thousands of villages across India are taking small yet steady steps towards progress while maintaining their old world charm. However, not every village in India has been able to benefit from these wonderful initiatives.

Our focus is on one of the remotest villages in Rajasthan that even Google has no information about – Sarettha. Dilapidated infrastructure along with high levels of illiteracy and uncleanliness are some of the major issues faced by residents of this village. In addition to this, Sarettha also seemed to miss out on the vibrancy of a typical Rajasthani village. But this was all going to change with a clean and colourful transformation undertaken by Nerolac Paints in partnership with Neemrana Group.

This brilliant initiative by Nerolac Paints transformed Sarettha from a remote village to a vibrant oasis in the desert. If you are coloured curious by this initiative, then check out the video below!

This is a partnered post.
