With the upcoming Delhi elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and BJP have taken their fight to social networking sites and have recently been starting Twitter wars to promote their respective parties. It was only a few days ago that hashtags like #CrazyKejaria and #CleanPolitics were seen trending on Twitter, as this Firstpost article tells you. Another Firstpost article shows you how Twitter has been obsessed about what Arvind Kejriwal said as #KejriwalQuotes was trending at another time. [caption id=“attachment_1824967” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Courtesy: Twitter[/caption] However, with #MufflerMan, AAP seems to have gone ahead of BJP in the Twitter war. The hashtag was initially started by BJP supporters and anti-AAP people on Twitter, who ridiculed Kejriwal for the trademark muffler he often wears around his neck.
#Aaptards and what they think? @ArvindKejriwal asked Delhi LG to make public what he was told by BJP! come on #Mufflerman get some sense

However, things turned around for AAP and backfired at the BJP as the party used some excellent Photoshop skills to turn Muffler Man into a superhero character. From a joke on Kejriwal, AAP turned #MufflerMan into a Twitter campaign of sorts. From variations of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Spiderman, Batman, Game of Thrones to cartoons and posts making fun of PM Narendra Modi and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, here are some of the most memorable #MufflerMan posts on Twitter:
