Makeup tutorials are very popular on Youtube and social media, but Youtube channel Make Love Not Scars has been uploading beauty tutorials with a bit of a twist. [caption id=“attachment_2421260” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![acid](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/acid.jpg) Screengrab from the video.[/caption] The channel partners with acid attack victims, who have filmed minute-long videos on how to get the perfect red lipstick, or how to apply eyeliner. Called ‘Beauty Tips with Reshma’ you can see a heavily-scarred but completely undeterred acid attack victim in the videos, showing us how to apply the perfect liner with the confidence of any beauty blogger. At the end of their videos, they inform us how these beauty products are easily available in the market, but so is acid. There’s also a petition that can be signed to ban the sale. In a bid to ban acid from being available in the markets, the campaign ‘Make Love Not Scars’ has partnered with Ogilvy and Mather to reach to a wider audience with these videos. Their website also has personal accounts of acid attack victims with graphic images, clearly showing the strength to not hide behind their scars. The stories are touching, and some victims include men who have been wronged as well. Watch the videos here:
