Mother, Mom, Ma, Mummy, Momma, Amma...These are the most comforting words in the whole wide world, a feeling of love, warmth and nurture. Our moms are the first person we think of in dire situations. And every Mother's Day we appreciate her without fail. We take her out on special treats or we buy her expensive gifts, cook special meals and more. We do all of it with utmost love and attention as we truly appreciate her and all that she has done for us.
But as the day fades away, so does the celebratory mood and mundane life takes over. We get back to being completely immersed in our own lives and more often than not we miss out on little things concerning our moms. Now you're probably thinking that this is not the case. Well, here's a little food for thought.
How many times did you make a plan with your colleagues to go out for lunch compared to going out with your mom in the last year?
How many messages have you exchanged with your friends this week compared to your mom?
The list can go on so why can't we celebrate Mother's Day more than once a year? Just think about it! Here is a video that might help you gain a new perspective.
